Grinding tool of optical lens

PURPOSE:To improve the productivity by making difficult to change the curvature of a lens to process by a continued processing, and grinding numerous lens to process without correcting the curvature. CONSTITUTION:On a base plate 20 along a preplanned processing curvature of a lens which is the base of an electrodeposition plate 1, a nickel layer 22 on which a layer of diamond abrasive grains 21 are fixed is formed in an electrodeposition. By fixing the diamond abrasive grains 21 in an electrodeposition, the diamond abrasive grains 21 are held strongly, and at the same time, the density of the cutting blades of the diamond grains 21 can be increased. As a result, the workload per a diamond grain is reduced, and the electrodeposition plate 1 is hardly abraded. Consequently, the curvature of the electrodeposition plate 1 is hardly changed even though a continued processing is applied, and the processing curvature of the lens to process receives no influence, accordingly.
