Polarization phenomena in high‐energy physics

A short review of polarization phenomena in proton–proton scattering and in hyperon production is presented. The experimental data from pp scattering above 10 GeV and hyperon production from 400 GeV protons incident on a beryllium target are used to illustrate the polarization physics.
