Immunoassay method for antibodies labeled with zinc-oxide quantum dots by stripping voltammetry

2009
The invention relates to an immunoassay method for antibodies labeled with zinc-oxide quantum dots by a stripping voltammetry, which is realized in such a way: combining an antibody labeled with zinc-oxide quantum dots with an antibody fixed on a torn piece through the antigen specific reaction; dissolving the zinc-oxide quantum dots fixed on the torn piece into zinc ions by using acidic solution;measuring the concentration of the dissolved zinc ions by using a stripping voltammetry; and establishing a standard curve of the relationship between the concentration of the dissolved zinc ions andthe concentration of the antigen so as to quantitatively determine the concentration of the antigen in the measured sample. The zinc-oxide quantum dots prepared by the method have the advantages of uniform particle size, favorable dispersity, stable combination with antibodies, stable and reliable detection result and favorable reproducibility. The method provides a quick and reliable way for detecting disease antigens in early clinical stage and has huge application potential in the application of early clinical diagnosis methods.
