ANALISIS KEBAKUAN BAHASA DAN DIKSI DALAM KARANGAN EKSPOSISI PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SEMETER GENAP SMP NEGERI 23 BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2018/2019

The purpose of the study was to find out and describe the correctness of language and diction. The problem examined in this study is the analysis of the standard of language and diction in the exposition essay on the eighth grade students of the second semester of the SMP Negeri 23 Bandar Lampung academic year 2018/2019. The analysis aspects studied in this study include the suitability of the title with the content, the use and writing of spelling, choice of words / diction, sentence structure, cohesion between sentences, cohesion between paragraphs, overall content, neatness. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The subject of this study was the eighth grade students of the even semester of SMP Negeri 23 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2018/2019. The data collection technique used in this study is the assignment technique of writing exposition essays in accordance with the predetermined theme. Data obtained, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study based on the data from the analysis of students using the standard of language and diction in the exposition essay are known that the level of absorption of students in the subject matter taught. In the calculation of students' thinking included in the good category can be seen from the results of student analysis.
