Collaborative network management

1998
We can share information among network management systems so that they collaborate in the process of planning and troubleshooting. Open, public interfaces and protocol standards such as SNMP and CORBA help us build the sharing mechanism. We can use these technologies to build practical managers for real systems that work well. We used the collaborative network management (CNM) architecture to monitor the JWID98 network core.
