Digital video watermarking using Hybrid wavelet transform with Cosine, Haar, Kekre, Walsh, Slant and Sine transforms

Nowadays, protection of proprietary data has gained interest in various fields of technology; one of the methods of doing this is use of watermark. Previous methods has proved that use of Hybrid wavelet transform yields better result than use of orthogonal transforms. This paper proposes a new approach for digital video watermarking based on hybrid wavelet transforms. In this method, video frames are extracted from a video and hybrid wavelet transform is applied on both video frame and watermark. The watermark will be embedded on video frame in transformed domain. The proposed approach produces better results for Haar-Kekre hybrid wavelet transform compared to other hybrid wavelet transform formed by combinations of Haar and Walsh transforms with Cosine, Haar, Kekre, Slant, Walsh and Sine transforms.
