The level of plumbum in children, living in different ecological districts of Irkutsk city, was defined by means of chemical analysis of blood, hair and teeth. The results of the investigation of blood have shown that 35% of children have "high" and "higher" Pb level in the conditionally "dirty" region. Comparing Pb concentrations in hair and teeth of children between Irkutsk and other industrial cities in Russia shows close results corresponding to the level of "preoccupation". The concentration of Pb in children's organisms depends on the place of living. In article, data of neonatal screening on inborn hypothyreosis is analyzed and generalized.
