제습-증발냉각 시스템의 실내공기질 개선 효과

2018
This study aims to investigate the indoor air quality(IAQ) of two air conditioning systems. Two different types of air conditioning systems were selected, which were desiccant-enhanced evaporative air conditioner(DEVap) system and variable air volume(VAV) system. There are two different cases with incoming outdoor air strategy in DEVap system(DEVap case1, DEVap case2). The compared parameters for IAQ were carbon dioxide, particulate matter 10(PM10), particulate matter 2.5(PM2.5), which are sensitive factors to people in IAQ. The comparison for selected systems were conducted in an office room. We used a weather data of peak day in Seoul, Korea. The hottest day was selected during summer season. Carbon dioxide, PM10 and PM2.5 concentration data was derived from the government institution. Concentrations of both carbon dioxide and PM in the room were predicted using the mass balance equations using the commercial equation solver program(EES). The thermal loads of the modeling space were calculated using TRNSYS 18. As a result, the lowest indoor carbon dioxide concentration in the peak day was shown in DEVap case2 compared with other systems. The highest indoor PM10 and PM2.5 concentration in the peak day of summer season was shown in VAV, Because liquid dessicant, which is used in DEVap system, has airborne particle removal effect. Consequently, DEVap case2 has more benefit in IAQ compared with other air conditioning systems.
