Fabrication and Application of Nanobiosensors Based on Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance

Metal nanoparticles exhibit the localized surface plasmon resonance(LSPR) effects,and have been widely applied in biosensor.In view of the main principle of localized surface plasmon effects,and analysing the diffe-rences between surface plasmon and localized surface plasmon are reviewed.Fabrication technology,characteristics and application of several metal nanostructure fabrications in LSPR biosensors are listed,such as colloidal lithography,electron beam lithography,focused ion beam,nanosphere lithography.The prospective,challenges and solutions that LSPR biosensors should be faced are also discussed.
