Public health nurses and AIDS.

As the number and longevity of AIDS patients increases, it is ever more likely that public health nurses will play a growing role in caring for HIV infected individuals. Yet, these two surveys of public health nurses reveal that few of them have had any direct experience with AIDS patients, and that many feel they need more inservice training to help them cope with this epidemic.
