The invention relates to an information fusion-based earth's surface three-dimensional change detection method and system. The method comprises the following steps of 1, based on a high-resolution optical stereo-image high-precision matching technology, extracting earth's surface elevation dimension information from the high-resolution optical stereo-images, 2, carrying out dimension information-fusion multiscale image segmentation on the high-resolution optical stereo-images to obtain an optimal segmentation scale scope, 3, carrying out object-oriented feature set selection on the high-resolution optical stereo-images to obtain a high-efficiency feature set, and 4, carrying out fusion on the dimensions, scales and feature information obtained by the above three steps and carrying out earth's surface three-dimensional change detection. The invention also relates to an information fusion-based earth's surface three-dimensional change detection system. Through the method and system, the earth's surface three-dimensional change information can be extracted from the high-resolution optical stereo-images, change detection result accuracy and reliability are greatly improved, and comprehensive change information more close to the real world is obtained.
