A MODIFICAÇÃO DA PAISAGEM ATRAVÉS DA TRILHA URBANA EM PONTOS HISTÓRICOS DO CENTRO DA CIDADE DO RIO DE JANEIRO

The geological structure of a region is the basis for everything that happens in a possibleoccupation of man, and for a good understanding of the interaction Man and Geology,historical content is a key factor for what kind of changes a city has tendencies to suffer. Inthis way, the concept of landscape is evolutionary according to the interaction of man and thegeological structure of a region. Thus, an urban track related to the historical context ofSlavery and the great geomorphological modifications of the region of the Center of the cityof Rio de Janeiro occurred during the 517 years in the landscape are demonstrated in 9 pointsof the route. Through the collected data, it can be verified that the changes occurred in thelandscape were strongly influenced by the human occupation and that the people go unnoticedof the influence of the historical context in these modifications. In this way, the interactionwith the audience of the trail brings a concept of informal education which comes tocomplement formal education.
