DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS OF PROFESSIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL CERTIFICATION OF NAVAL ACADEMY OFFICERS

2019
The relevance of the study is due to the deficit in the set of modern methodological apparatus of psychodiagnostics to solve the problems of certification of servicemen of different categories. The existing tools have limitations on application. Objective: to conduct a rapid assessment of psychometric qualities of techniques from the test battery “KRD”, as well as to check the factor structure of the model of psychological profiles on different samples of naval officers in order to assess the prospects for the use of the studied methodological apparatus for solving heterogeneous certification tasks. Materials and methods. The sample consisted of 1507 officers of the Navy, in the rank of lieutenant to captain of the 1st rank, aged 22 to 50 years, who were examined by the methods of the test battery “KRD”. Assessment of quality of methods were carried out mathematical and statistical methods in the analysis of calculated reliability indices of the scales, discriminatively and difficulty of items estimated structure parameters and relationships in models of psychological profiles by the method of confirmatory factor analysis. Results. A comparative analysis of the data obtained from different samples formed from the sample population showed that the best psychometric qualities of the studied scales are determined on a sample of officers of the age range 35-45 years, however, the decrease in the qualities of some scales in other samples is uncritical and amenable to minor revision. The factor structure in the model of psychological profiles in the course of confirmatory factor analysis was generally confirmed in all samples. Conclusion. The data obtained in the course of this study indicate the prospect of using the test battery “KRD” on various contingents of officers with the necessary refinement and standardization of psychodiagnostic techniques on relevant samples (1 table, bibliography: 7 refs).
