Kikuchi-Fujimoto Hastaliği: Olgu Sunumu Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease: Case report

Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease is rare self-limiting disease with unknown etiology characterized by fever and lymphadenopathy. Laboratory findings are non-specific. Although, viral, chemical agents, and autoimmunity are suggested in etiology, exact cause has not been identified. It is of ten misdiagnosed as malign lymphoma. Histologically, involved nodes show localized proliferation of histiocytes and immunoblast associated with abundant nuclear debris and tissue necrosis. In this article, 29 years-old female patient applied with neck lymphadenopathy diagnosed as Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease is discussed. J Clin Exp Invest 2011; 2 (4): 433-436 OZET
