Compilation of China's Regional Macro-financial Social Accounting Matrix

This paper, by giving prominence to financial sectors, compiles China's regional macro-financial social accounting matrix. This research provides decision-makers and researchers with the economic data in making them understand and analyze regional economic situations. It is extremely important for them to build up regional financial computable general equilibrium model and to make scenario analysis in China's regional and financial level. Firstly, in view of macro-economic cycle, the paper studies the structure and content of China's regional macro-financial social accounting matrix after investing the Characteristics of China's regional sectors and financial sectors. Secondly, based on Jiangsu Input-Output Table (2000), Jiangsu Statistical Yearbook and Jiangsu Financial Yearbook, the authors compile Jiangsu macro-financial social accounting matrix. Finally, using the cross entropy technology, they get the matrix balanced.
