Novel Al-Mg-Si alloy

The invention relates to a novel Al-Mg-Si alloy which has the following components in percentage by weight: 0.2-0.4% of Mg, 0.2-0.6% of Si, 0.1-0.5% of Cu, 0.1-0.2% of Mn, 0.1% of Cr, 0.1-0.3% of Zn, 0.02% of Ti, less than or equal to 0.3% of Fe and the balance Al. Compared with the 6063 alloy, the alloy of the invention has low extrusion temperature, can save energy, reduce die wear, lower manufacturing cost, and can improve the extrusion speed by morn than 10% due to low deformation resistance; and simultaneously, even solid solution is carried out at a lower temperature, the strength can still exceed (reach) the strength of the 6063 alloy at a normal extrusion temperature.
