The present invention discloses a kind of energy-saving lighting control method of varying the amplitude of the extremum seeking algorithm based on the Newton, by PID closed loop control to maintain the illumination requirements, but also by varying the magnitude of Newton extremum search algorithm to quickly find iterative continuously lighting system energy consumption minimum value, a minimum value and remains stable output; in a variation of the amplitude of Newton extremum seeking algorithm, a positive signal is introduced to change the amplitude of the perturbation, this variable to a rapid increase, in order to ensure the accuracy of the algorithm, then decreases, shortening the time required for the search algorithm. According to the present invention, it can improve the speed and accuracy of Newton extremum seeking algorithm, to improve the overall performance of energy saving lighting control method.
