H 2 Analysis and Parameterized H 2 Observer Design for Descriptor Systems

In this paper we focus on two problems for linear descriptor system. Firstly, we study the problem of H 2 analysis. The necessary and sufficient LMI conditions are first presented, which guarantee the admissibility and H 2 performance of the systems. Moreover, the observer-based H 2 suboptimal control problem is discussed. The necessary and sufficient condition is obtained from the solutions of the observer-based H 2 suboptimal control problem using a matrix inequality formulation.
