Russian Patients Lymphedema and Lymphatic Malformation Register – Technical Desicion

Analysis of patient registries open new possibilities for investigators in area of real clinical experience. The main purpose of the register of patients with lymphedema and lymphatic malformations is mathematical modeling of the course of the disease of patients, statistical processing of data from the general population and individual patient cohorts. The main technical decision - the online platform - is based on a universal software package for organizing and informatizing the collection, dynamic clinical and epidemiological surveillance and data analysis in remote access mode. Register also raises the awareness of doctors and patients about the possibilities of treatment, diagnosis and prevention of lymphedema and lymphatic malformations, information about medical institutions that provide assistance.
