1. The adsorption of benzoic acid from aqueous solutions on carbon black with different pH of the solution was studied. 2. A model of the adsorption of weak electrolytes that satisfactorily describes the dependence of the adsorption on the pH of the medium and considers the degree of its dissociation and the adsorption of hydroxonium and hydroxyl ions was proposed.
