Effect of roostock on Botrytis cinerea susceptibility of Vitis vinifera cv. Falanghina

The influence of four rootstocks on susceptibility to Botrytis cinerea of Vitis vinifera cv. Falanghina was studied. A leakage electrolyte assay (LEA) was performed in vitro on leaves of vines grafted on different rootstocks and their resistance to grey mould was investigated. Yield and quality parameters were also evaluated. The results pointed out that S04 induces late resistance compared with the other considered rootstocks.
