The invention discloses a quick-drying type efficient anticorrosion alkyd iron red coating and a preparation method thereof. The quick-drying type efficient anticorrosion alkyd iron red coasting comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 15 to 50% of dry vegetable oil modified alkyd resin, 10 to 25% of butyl acetate, 0.1 to 0.5% of dispersing agent, 10 to 30% of iron oxide red, 5 to 30% of talcum powder, 0.5 to 1% of bentonite, 0.1 to 0.3% of diacetylmonoxime, and 0.5 to 1% of combination drier. The quick-drying type efficient anticorrosion alkyd iron red coating disclosed by the invention is always used as the primer to be applicable to black surfaces such as the surface of a large-scale steel structure and the surface of a bridge. The quick-drying type efficient anticorrosion alkyd iron red coating is higher in adhesive force and moisture resistance and high in back paint connection, and is specially applicable to resisting the corrosion from the atmosphere. The quick-drying type efficient anticorrosion alkyd iron red coating can be dried and delivered for use within seven days. Compared with the coating with anticorrosion effect lasting for about six months in the prior art, the quick-drying type efficient anticorrosion alkyd iron red coating disclosed by the invention has the anticorrosive effect up to two years, and the hardness reaches of level HB.
