Media Value and Simple Outlook of Harmony

There are objective evaluation criteria for social harmony,but "harmony" should be perceptible to common people,who tend to take what they see and hear as the main evaluation criteria for the perception of the existence situation of the society.In this sense,their outlook of harmony is a one-sided narrow view.But this simple outlook of harmony is true and exists everywhere,and it is a factor that concerns whether the society as a whole is harmonious or not.Then who guides this simple outlook of harmony of the ordinary people? The significance and function of the mainstream media lies in the fact that they guide the public to form accurate and objective psychological recognition and value judgment through their unique,predominant "right to speak" and "right to express" so as to increase the audience's confidence and expectation of the harmonious society.Whether the value orientation of media information output metaphor is positive or negative,active or passive,will influence the differences of the audience's subjective feelings towards the partial and even overall operation situation of the society.And the media audience's intrinsic defects call for the media's selective dissemination to reshape the audience's understanding and judgment of "harmonious society".
