Research on Spatial Pattern and Influencing Factors of Consumption Vitality in the Middle Areas Based on POI data—A Case Study of Hefei City

2022
This paper uses kernel density analysis and a geographic detector model to analyze the spatial pattern and influencing factors of consumption vitality in central cities, taking Hefei as an example. The results demonstrate that: (1) the spatial distribution pattern of five consumer service facilities basically presents the characteristics of “large agglomeration—small dispersion”. The central urban area forms a large continuous area, while the peripheral area forms a small independent area. (2) The spatial layout of Hefei’s consumption vitality shows the characteristics of multi-core high agglomeration in the new business circle and low-value small-scale agglomeration in the periphery area. (3) The spatial distribution of Hefei’s consumption vitality is the joint result of multiple influential factors such as economy, transportation, and social public services.
