Assignment of Design Flow-Rates of Spillways with Consideration of their Service Life and Economic Consequences of Failures

A method is proposed for designation of design flow rates of water for a period of temporary service of water-development works, which permits direct consideration of both the service life, and also economic and social consequences of possible failures.
