The speed with which is renewed knowledge and the need for results, makes that today's organizations learn to manage knowledge as the main resource for the competitiveness of the organization. In this sense, this article is objective a thoughtful analysis about the need to understand the knowledge management strategy of appropriation of science, technology and innovation in higher education. At first becomes a conceptual theoretical synthesis of knowledge management, emphasizing its importance in education, in second place, is gives way to the time of a proposal for management of knowledge as a pedagogical model, justifying the necessary terms for the creation, demonstration, use and transmission of knowledge. Approached methodology is descriptive, with design documentary-bibliographic. Conclusion evidence a model focused on the identification, location, use of knowledge and strategies to create group dynamics that enable the generation, magazine, broadcasting and internalization of the existing knowledge in an organization.
