Study on synthesis of aliphatic superplasticizer under microwave irradiation and its performance

The aliphatic superplasticizer(SAF) was synthesized with formaldehyde,acetone and anhydrous sodium sulfite as raw material under microwave-irradiation conditions. The optimum synthesis conditions were obtained by Mon-agent Experimentations. When 0.75% SAF was added,the water reduction rate was 26.5% meanwhile the time of synthesis was shortened,the time of condensation only lasted for twenty five minutes,the time of whole synthesis process was less than 2.5 h,which fully showed superiority of microwave irradiation in synthesis reaction.
