Antibiotics application in Caesarean-operation patients during perioperative period.

2010
OBJECTIVE To analze statistically the application of antibiotics used in the perioperative patients with Caesarean in our hospital,in order to evaluate the rational use of antibiotics.METHODS The antibiotics application was retrospectively analyzed using the followsing methods: sampling research method, drug using evaluation method and drug frequency analysis method.RESULTS All of the 130 Caesarean-operation patients had used antibiotics. The high frequent antibiotics applications contained ornidazole, cefotiam and cefozolin. The most expensive kinds of antibiotics included cefotiam, cefozolin pentahydrate, ornidazole, etc. With usual application between three and four days after operation, there was no concurrent infection. The ratio of combined-antibiotics was 99.2%.CONCLUSIONS The are some problems existed, shch as the course of antibiotics treatment in these patients is so long after surgery, the anti-anaerobic drugs used are so superior and the use of triple and quadruple antibiotics is without indications. The use of antibiotics should be based on Guide of Prophylactic Use of Antibiotics During Perioperative Periodas the standard, and optimize the use of antibiotics.
