New diuretic – polyosm– significant reduced the development of pulmonary edema, suppressed the formation of blood “hyperviscosity” and decreased the death rate of animals on 1 day after isopropanol intoxication. Our investigations demonstrated that polyosm more efficiently than mannite in therapy of aliphatic spirits intoxication.
