Method for determining total sulphur in resin

2014
The invention provides a method for determining total sulphur in resin. The method comprises the following steps: crushing a resin sample, putting in a quartz combustion boat, sampling, and pushing in a highest temperature region, wherein the whole process is performed under argon protection; burning and decomposing the sample by alternatively using oxygen and argon so as to obtain sample gas after the crushed sample stays for 2-3 minutes in the highest temperature region; and the sample gas entering an absorption tank under the driving of argon, and then, determining the content of sulphur through ion chromatography. Organic matters are completely burned and decomposed in a system closed state by adopting a high-temperature combustion method; after the organic matters are absorbed by using a deionized aqueous solution containing H2O2, determination through ion chromatography is directly carried out quantitatively; a determined component is low in loss; the content of sulphur in a resin product can be determined precisely; and the method is simple to operate and short in determination time.
