Condenser micro-mirrors for high speed optical modules

We have developed a gold-film condenser micro-mirror to help miniaturize optical coupling between high-speed optical chips and optical circuits. Coupling over a path length of 160 /spl mu/m results in loss of only 0.6 dB.
