New decay modes of the high-spin isomer of 124Cs

A new \(\beta^{+}\)/EC branch of \(0.11\pm 0.02\)% from the \((7)^{+}\) isomer of 124Cs was identified in a measurement of the decay of 124Cs using the \(8\pi\) spectrometer at TRIUMF. Combinations of \(\gamma\)-\(\gamma\), \(\gamma\)-\(e^{-}\), and \(e^{-}\)-\(e^{-}\) coincidence data were used to further investigate the isomeric decay. Six new transitions were observed and their branching ratios were measured.
