Care for the Learning of Mathematics

This chapter reflects on the examples in preceding chapters, pulling together common purposes and different ways to evidence them. Teacher–student contracts develop through trust, listening and language. Care for the teacher is introduced as an issue. The chapter then provides an overview of the nature and conduits of care for individual voices and their thinking about mathematics.
