Analysis on Closing Hillsides to Facilitate Afforestation in Karst Hills

The different community and their growth features of both before and after closing hillsides to facilitate afforestation were studied by the locative plots. The results showed that community coerage,height and diametre after 3～4 years to close hills were increased, the diversity index,evenness ecological dominance,richness were changed.The changes of community coverage and growth could be used as the estimated index of closing hillsides and planting trees.
