La ilegitimidad de las restricciones a la caricatura política

This paper seeks to establish the illegitimacy of the restrictions on political cartoon by analyzing the freedom of expression and the specially protected speech. In addition, this essay pretends to examine whether the protection of the political cartoon can be a verification mechanism of the democratic system and the validity of individual liberties interlinked with freedom of expression. At bottom, this work is a reflection on freedom and on the legal protection that a democratic society must grant to certain types of expressions, such as the works of the cartoonists.
