MODEL ANALYSIS OF THE NATURE AND GROWTH OF MANGROVE CRAB CONDITION INDEX (scutellaria serrata Scylla) THAT COMES FROM THE WATERS OF THE ESTUARY AT TARAKAN

Tarakan has the potential of high biological resources on which mangrove crabs (Scylla cerrata). The purpose of the research is to analyze the growth model allometri and the index of conditions as well as the gender ratio of the mangrove crab (s. scutellaria serrata) originating from the waters of the estuary of the river around the town of Tarakan. Research methods the research is descriptive research method using a quantitative approach. Mangrove crab sampling (s. serrate) are purposive sampling by following the usual fishermen catch crab s. serrate in the Habitat. Sampling conducted during period 2 as much ups and downs by using a capture tool ambau brackets as much as 35 unit with bait fish dried eels. The results of research on the growth model based on the allometri between the carapace dimensions (length, width and thickness the carapace) denganb total weight of mangrove crabs (Scylla scutellaria serrata) gender males and females have the nature of growth allometri negative. Index of conditions between the dimensions of the shell (carapace length) with total weight for males and females in the domination of the fat body shape while the index of conditions between the dimensions of the shell (carapace width and thickness) with the total weight for the male domination in the form of Skinny body and for the female-dominated form of body fat. Sex ratio of females more than males.
