The present invention discloses a source driver chip driving circuit and a liquid crystal display panel. An input terminal connected to the control terminal of the switch unit output terminal of the source driver chip driving circuit, the blanking timer, the switching unit is connected to the power supply, the switching power supply unit connected to the output terminal of the buffer amplifier; blanking timer for generating a control signal, wherein the control signal or the horizontal blanking frame blanking level when a first control signal is at a second level when the non-line-blanking and non-blanking frames; means for switching the control signal is a first electrical usually, in an OFF state, so that the power supply can not supply switch unit supplies power to the buffer amplifier; and, the control signal is the second level, in the conduction state, so that the power supply to the switch unit through the buffer amplifier powered power terminal. The present embodiment a source driver chip driving circuit and liquid crystal display panel can be effectively reduced power consumption.
