Potential careers in potential fields

I am enthusiastic about gravity and magnetics (G&M) because the more I use them the more powerful I know that they are! I also know that at times this specialized part of applied geophysics is misunderstood, misrepresented, and misdirected. However, the more common situation is careful use by a special group of professionals who enjoy the challenge and who are not afraid to be in the minority.
