Stability of liquid CO2 spheres covered with clathrate film when exposed to environment simulating the deep sea

1995
Abstract CO 2 is regarded as one of the greenhouse gases. Studies on technologies for sequestering of CO 2 in the deep sea are being conducted over a long period of time. In this paper, we discuss the relationship between the dissolution rate of liquid CO 2 spheres and those covered with clathrate film as related to seawater velocity, and discuss the stability of CO 2 spheres covered with clathrate.
