The Application of Case Teaching Method in Community Nursing Course

Purpose: Analyze the effective influence of case teaching method on higher vocational nursing students during the course of community nursing.Method: Use contrastive teaching methods,of which case teaching is applied in experiment group while traditional teaching is applied in control group.Compare and analyze the final exam results;distribute questionnaire in experiment group.Result:The final score of experiment group is 86.4±7.2,and the final score of control group is 7.96±7.8,so the comparative result can be demonstrated as u=4.23,P0.05;the comparative excellent rate(including score over 85) is shown as x2=4.36,p0.05.Conclusion: Case teaching method not only has improved students' ability to deal with problems,but also motivated their subjective initiative.It also developed their creative thinking,and deepened their understanding of basic theories and concepts,at the same time,enhanced nursing teachers teaching skill and overall quality.
