Preliminary Mapping the Genes Conferring Resistant to Brown Planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens) in Rice

The brown planthopper resistance gene derived from wild rice (Oryza rufipogon Griff) BHP54 were mapping with 229 rice SSR primers. The results indicated that there were polymorphisms on both RM589 and RM311 in BC2F2 populations. These major resistance genes were located on rice chromosomes 6 and chromosome 10, respectively.
