The present invention discloses a garnet structure activated by Ce3 + phosphor, chemical formula of: Mg2-aAaY2-x-bBbM2N2O12: xCe3 + where: A is Ba, Sr, and Ca, or a combination of two or more, B is Gd, La, Sc, one or a combination of two or more, M being Al, Ga combination of one or two in any ratio, N is Si, Ge, or two in any ratio combination, x, a, b are each the mole fraction thereof in the range: 0.01≤x≤0.12,0≤a≤0.2,0≤b≤0.2. The present invention provides the phosphor at the wavelength of blue light 460nm excitation, may emit orange light having a wavelength range of 500 to 750nm, the white LED may be applied.
