EFFECT OF ELECTROLYTE CONSTITUENTS ON PROPERTIES OF ANODIC COATINGS OF MAGNESIUM ALLOYS

Anodic oxidation can greatly enhance the corrosion resistance of magnesium alloy.The constituents of electrolyte are vital for the protective properties of anodic coatings of magnesium alloys.In this paper,the study about the electrolyte constituents for the anodizing treatment of magnesium alloy is reviewed in order to lay foundations for the research of anodizing techniques of magnesium alloys.
