Camille Melchior Gibert (1797–1866)

Camille Melchior Gibert was born in 1797 in Paris. He interned there under Doctor Biett at l’Hopital Saint-Louis and worked at the Broca and Saint-Louis Hospitals. He is best remembered for his description of Pityriasis rosea, which has been associated with him. He died in the 1866 Paris cholera epidemic.
