An Empirical Test on the Relationship between China's Foreign Trade and Environmental Quality Based on An-C-Tayor General Equilibrium Model

The paper uses the general equilibrium model created by Antweiler,Copeland and Taylor in 2001 to study the effects of China's foreign trade on environment with the panel co-integration model of scale effects,composition effects and technical effects.The three different environmental indicators indicate that scale effects caused by trade positively affect industrial waste water,but negatively affect industrial air pollution and industrial solid waste;composition effects are negative;trade reliance only affects industrial waste water;the relationship between consumption composition and environmental pollution is positive.
