Allo-geneic natural killer cells in clinical treatment of malignancy: research progress

2011
Natural killer cells (NKs) are lymphocytes of the innate immune system,it could recognize and lyse the tumor without being sensitized by antigens.Killer immunoglobulin-like receptors are the most important receptors on the surface of NKs whose ligands are human leucocyte antigen class Ⅰ.Allo-geneic NK cells come from different genetic background of donors and receiptors which display potential anti-tumor efficiency in clinical treatment of multiple malignancy. The patterns of mismatched genotypes between donors and receiptors included KIR-KIR 、KIR-HLA、HLA-HLA and spocial types of KIR genotypo impact the prognosis of patients differently after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT). Key words: Allo-geneic NK cells ;  KIR;  HLA-Ⅰ;  Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation;  Malignancy
