Decay widths of theX(1835)as anN¯Nbound state

Partial decay widths of various decay channels of the $X(1835)$ are evaluated in the $^{3}P_{0}$ quark model, assuming that the $X(1835)$ is an $N\overline{N}$ bound state with the quantum number assignment ${I}^{G}({J}^{PC})={0}^{+}({0}^{\ensuremath{-}+})$. It is found that the decays to the $\ensuremath{\rho}\ensuremath{\rho}$, $\ensuremath{\omega}\ensuremath{\omega}$, and $\ensuremath{\pi}{a}_{0}(1450)$ states dominate over other channels, and that the product branching fractions $\mathrm{Br}(J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}X)\mathrm{Br}(X\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{\eta})$ and $\mathrm{Br}(J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}X)\mathrm{Br}(X\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{\pi}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}})$ are in the same order. We suggest that the $X(1835)$ may be searched in the $\ensuremath{\pi}{a}_{0}(1450)$ channel.
