Análise comparativa dos resultados de monitoramento em ancoragens de escavações subterrâneas em mineração.

2019
In situ stresses present in the rockmass are redistributed around an underground opening, causing pressure relief and concentration, which may destabilize the excavation and cause a collapse of the mine. For a proper development of underground mining operations, strict control of the stability of the excavations is required, and techniques and procedures for sustaining the openings are often required. For this, there are various devices and processes to stabilizing each type of deformation of the opening walls. On this variety of alternatives this work seeks to study the most common methods of support of underground openings, giving a special focus on the anchoring techniques, highlighting its characteristics and advantages, studying parameters such as load capacity, embedded length of the bolt, diameter of the bolt and additives on the grout. Thus, in this study, a comparative analysis of the results of this monitoring was performed. The results indicate that the load capacity depends mainly on the mechanical properties of the grout used, which can be altered in order to increase the bolt capacity.
