Ratko Zvrko - Pjesme ispričane pokretom

2020
Poetry is part of children's literature. It is intended and adapted to children and plays a significant role in their lives. Movement as the central concept of this work will serve us in showing the possibilities of the movement and the importance of the movement itself for poetry, but also for work in preschool education. Thanks to the literary heritage of Croatian poetry, it is possible to put two concepts, poetry and movement, in a comparative relationship. The child's preschool age is a key moment in children's development, especially in terms of socialization and emotional competence. The main focus of this paper is to show the use of children's poetry in work with children, but also the impact of poetry on their understanding of movement. It will also try to show whether it is possible to tell poetry through movement and in what relationship movement and poetry are. Connecting Croatian literature and Ratko Zvrko, the author of numerous children's works, with the help of Grga Cvarak's song, we will show how important the use of movement and song is in early childhood. In addition, the paper will present shorter songs through dance and explain the concept of verse and movement.
