Design of PWR Nuclear Power Plant Spent Fuel Pit Crane Lifting Safety Limit

Spent fuel pit crane of PWR power plant is serving for fuel handling and storage in fuel building.The main function of the equipment in nuclear maintenance phase is to transit fuel.Because of fuel safety,its operational boundary and displacement condition will be strictly controlled.According to nuclear power station's operating experience,the main factors of lifting limit designation are elaborated.Through the application of mechatronics technology,using multiple protection design methods,the displacement limited design problems are solved,while the securities of the system are enhanced.The improvement and optimization design has been successfully applied in Fangcheng Gang Nuclear Power Station.
